WebYou can use Inbrija (levodopa) up to 5 times per day. Don't take more than 2 capsules (84 mg total) per "off" period. In order to take the full dose (84 mg), you need to inhale two capsules (42 mg each) one at a time, and one right after the other. A common side effect of Inbrija (levodopa) is coughing. WebINBRIJA is contraindicated in patients taking or who have recently taken (within 2 weeks) nonselective monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine and tranylcypromine) due to risk of hypertension. Discontinue use of nonselective MAO inhibitors at least 2 weeks prior to initiating INBRIJA.
